Students need to make sure they are attending school every single day, it is crucial for them to assist their review sessions and be extremely prepared for their assessments!

2nd Six Weeks - Week 4


A big warm hello to all of you Historians!


This week, we will be hosting Progress Report Night on Tuesday, October 25th from 4 to 6pm at Peter Piper Pizza!
It's an easy and great way to:
* keep up with your child's grades
* know of future activities
* dine in with family
* and, help fundraise for Ac2E!!


See You all there! This week we will be covering Chapter 11, the Andes and Midlatitude Countries!!

Week 3 in 2nd Six Weeks!
Historians will continue with Chapter 8, "Caribbean Islands!"

Group Projects/Presentations are due on Tuesday, October 18th, followed by a review on Wednesday and their Mini-Assessment on Thursday, the 20th.

Make sure that you use your Interactive Notebooks to study!

2nd Six Weeks!! Weeks 1 &2

Wow! 2nd Six Weeks already!! A class project will be coming up real soon.  Students will be decorating a Mayan Mask that will be used to enhance our classroom.

After studying about our neighbor country Mexico, we will be jumping into the Caribbean Islands!
Remember that attendance is very important...and 6th Grade has to always be the best!

Week 4! Chapter 3&4
 Students will learn about birth and death rates in the United States of America.  The population growth varies around the world and how climate, landforms and waterways help to shape the regions.

Students will also enjoy an activity/expository writing ( with a partner) at the end of the week!
