Week of February 27 to March 3rd!


Let's welcome the 5th Six Weeks with open arms!  My historians will be reading and identifying new landforms and bodies of water in Southeast Asia!


We will also discuss several tragedies that happened in this particular region of the world, the Earthquake in 2004, the famous volcano Krakatoa's eruption in 1883 and other important facts about Southeast Asia!

Week of February 13-17,2017

Students will be taking their Six Weeks Assessments this week!  Make sure that they have a great dinner and good night's sleep.  They need to be well rested and energized to conquer these exams.

Chapter 21 West Africa


Students will know that West Africa has a diverse landscape,which includes deserts, steppe, savanna, and rain forests.


Students will be able to:
describe the landforms, describe the vegetation and discuss important natural resources.
